ANIMALS TO SALE:

SHEEP & GOATS-

In district (inside Roosevelt & Curry County):

must have a New Mexico Livestock brand card, scrappies tag in ear/ paint brand

Out of district (outside Curry, Roosevelt County): 

Must have a valid NM brand or from 1 brand inspection from NMLB or permit number.

OUT of State:

 Must have state issues scrapie tags, and entry permit number.

HOGS-

In State;

Do not need anything

Out of State:

official ID and a health paper

HORSES-

In State:

proof of ownership & Coggins if no cogging there will be a vet on site to pull one for a fee. 

Out of State:

health papers within 30 days with destination Roosevelt County Livestock Auction, Coggins within 12 months, and proof of ownership. 

CATTLE-

In State:

In district (Curry and Roosevelt County):

NMLB brand or bill of sales within 30 days. 

Out of District:

NMLB brand and permit number or bill of sale within 30 days and from 1 brand inspection

Out of State:
